Access to Medical Records

The practice is fully registered and adheres to the Data Protection Act 1998. Additionally, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which has been in effect since May 2018. As part of our commitment to data privacy, all patients have the right to access their personal information held by our practice. Any requests for access to information, whether made by the patient, the patient’s representative, or an external organisation, will be handled in accordance with the provisions outlined in the Data Protection Act and GDPR.

Accelerating Access 

Nettlebed Surgery has been requested by NHS England to provide you with access to your full medical record going forward as from 01 November 2023.  This will be via Patient Access and/or the NHS app (and NHS website) if you have registered for an NHS login.
