In compliance with NHS England guidelines, we are obligated to disclose the net earnings of doctors engaged in our practice. However, it is important to note that the prescribed method for calculating these earnings can be misleading and it does not account for the amount of time doctors spend working in the practice. Therefore, it should not be used to form any judgments about GP earnings or to make comparisons with other practices or professions.
As part of this requirement, all GP practices are mandated to declare the mean earnings, which refers to the average pay, of GPs earning above £150,000 a year working to provide NHS services to patients at each practice.
No GP working at Nettlebed Surgery in the last financial year earned £150,000 a year working to provide NHS services to patients at the practice.
