Confidentiality

We want to assure you that any information you share with any member of our practice, whether it’s a doctor, nurse, or receptionist, will be treated as confidential. This means that nothing will be disclosed to anyone else without your permission, even if you are under the age of 16. However, in extremely rare circumstances where there is a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, we may need to share confidential information without your consent. We will always make every effort to discuss this with you beforehand.

In addition, we are participating in the General Practice Data for Planning and Research (GPDfPR) initiative, which involves sharing data with NHS Digital. This collaboration is essential for crucial health and care planning and research purposes. Data collection for this purpose commenced on July 1, 2021.
