Medication requests
It is easier and quicker to manage request repeat prescriptions via the NHS App or Patient Access .
Alternatively, please post or hand in a paper request.
Please be aware, due to safety reasons.we are unable cannot accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions.
- Safety checks: Doctors must review your health and medicine needs.
- Busy schedules: Staff handle a very high volume of requests each day.
- Stock levels: time is needed to order the prescribing items
Please allow at least 3 full working days after requesting repeat medication.
This will give the surgery time to authorise and process your request, order stock and dispense items.
Outside surgery hours, if you need a prescription urgently, please contact 111 or your local pharmacy.
If you wish a prescription to be sent to you, please enclose a stamped, addressed envelope.
Remember to order early at Bank Holiday times, when the surgery is shut.
