Breast Screening Unit Relocated

The West Berkshire Breast Screening service have had to make the very difficult decision to locate the Mobile Breast Screening Unit to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. All eligible women will still be offered an appointment but this will be at the Royal Berkshire Hospital which we understand will be very disappointing for a lot of clients. This is due to access & parking restrictions on and around the Townlands Memorial Hospital which has meant we are unable to move the mobile unit to our usual site.  In the meantime we are still working on securing an alternative location.

We remain committed to restoring local access as soon as the issues are resolved and will continue to maintain safe, high quality breast screening for all eligible clients.
